Aint it grand?! Can't use the word "terrorist" anymore when speaking about people that plot and plan "man made catastrophes" which kill scores of innocent people in the United States and around the world, but when speaking about American Citizens in official documents drafted by the DHS and distributed to local law enforcement officials around our country it’s more than acceptable.
Following is the new DHS definition of ‘rightwing extremism’ as found in the newly circulated document:
“(U) Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and
adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups),
and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or
rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue,
such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”
Favoring state authority over federal authority is extremism? Opposing issues such as abortion is considered extremism? According to the DHS, apparently it is!
I recommend that everyone read about the new threat to our country by following the link posted at the beginning of this post. Once you’ve had the chance to mull it over, go ahead and post your thoughts so we can discuss this issue and hopefully figure out how to protect ourselves and our loved ones from these rightwing moonbats.

J... I know of a group of gun enthusiasts who meet together regularly. They train together and its open to anyone who wants to learn. They had what is called a rock shoot out in the west desert. Bring any gun and we shoot it. Its been going on for years. These are law abiding citizens. No one with any criminal record. Upstanding members of the community. They posted the event on their website. They met at a restaurant and had breakfast. A noobie joined the group. Its cool all are welcome. They drive out west onto BLM land. They unload their cars set up the shoot in a safe area they begin shooting as always. The next thing they now the BLM swat team has them at gun point is now searching their equipment, persons and cars. The noobie was a plant and was a member of the Swat group. They found no drugs, no illegal weapons no contraband other than some targets that the BLM considers to be "fireworks". The person who had them was ticketed. Then another BLM police officer comes to the scene and issues tickets for failure to get a permit for a public event. Failure to pay the $4 a head fee to the BLM. Because two of the group had previous posts on the website they were considered the organizers. They didn't make the announcement post. They didn't organize the event. They are now being charged with trespassing as well as other violations regarding an organized shoot. There were less than 10 people and it was a loose invitation not a sanctioned event. My point they were monitoring a legal group of upstanding citizens who were doing nothing wrong. It would be similar to the group that goes on the yearly atv trip being raided by the BLM. Interesting... I would give more details but I can't via the internet.
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing account Eran! At what point does the government feel it more important and more valuable to raid such a thing than to actually do their jobs? I mean the Plant could have ascertained through breakfast, the makeup of the group. If they felt this was legitimately an extremist group then fine. But to start slapping fines and trumped up charges just to justify the expense of having them there is douchebaggery. That's a technical term! What baffles me is that these LAW "enforcement" officials can pick and choose which laws they wish to uphold. They will meet with large numbers of illegal immigrants and reassure them that they won't be "profiled" but when someone is operating within the law they trump up charges. If the Law Enforcement officials get to pick and choose, where does it end? You and I surely don't get to pick and choose with impunity.
